Position Title: Manager Production & Logistics

Location: Oldenzaal, The Netherlands


Vernay Europa B.V. located in the Netherlands, is looking for enthusiastic candidates to strengthen its team for the following position:



As Manager, Production & Logistics in a growing internationally operating organization, you will be responsible for the optimal functioning of the production and logistics at our site in Oldenzaal. Customer orders are primarily for the automobile industry. The high quality products must be produced and delivered on time, taking into account the applicable quality requirements and at minimum cost. In this respect, it is important that production is done in a safe working environment. Continuous improvements in the fields of safety, quality, delivery performance, costs and the environment are developed using a global central Lean Manufacturing programme. Vernay Europa B.V. is currently experiencing a period of interesting growth and professionalization. Knowledge is frequently exchanged about these topics among the manufacturing sites worldwide. You will support this programme and your knowledge and experience in this area will be an addition to the team. The organization is active in various other processes. You will make an active contribution herein by the further professionalization of processes and the development of employees. You will report to the Managing Director of Operations.  



• You have completed a technical (management) programme, preferably in Mechanical Engineering or Management Science at an academic level
• You have at least three years work experience in a similar position, preferably gained within an internationally operating industrial organization   
• You have knowledge and experience of the following topics: improvement programmes with Kaizen, TPM, single-piece-flow, cell production and standard work
• You possess vision, keep an overview and have a decisive and solution-oriented professional and intellectual ability 
• You show entrepreneurship with a no-nonsense mentality and demonstrate that you have analytical powers
• Considering the dynamic working environment, you are able to switch quickly between topics  
• You are able to operate effectively both individually and in a team as an inspiring and motivating leader
• Good command of the English language verbally and in writing is a requirement and we prefer good command of the German language verbally and in writing
• Experience in the Rubber and Plastics Industry, as well as knowledge of IATF 16949:2016 is an advantage
