  • Job/Pay: Vernay Full-Time Employment.  $12.50/hour plus shift premiums of $.20-$.70/hour
  • Hiring Bonus:  All candidates hired from the Career Fair who start employment on 8/31/20, are eligible for a $500 hiring bonus if still actively employed on 12/14/2020.  Payable on 12/18/2020.
  • Shift Type: 12 HOURS, and 8 HOURS (3p-11p and 11p-7a)

FULL JOB DESCRIPTION:

Job Scope:

Perform a variety of duties such as combining materials, assembling mold parts, filling molds and finishes molded products, and perform visual inspection of molded products.  Maintain Safety, Quality, Delivery, Productivity and 5S on a daily basis.


Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions: 

  • Review, Challenge and Verify all safety features on equipment and use required PPE.
  • Mold, Finish, Audit and Inspection of molded product.
  • Must be able to navigate and enter data into a computer
  • Read, Comprehend and demonstrate ability to follow documented procedures and/or other instructions
  • Meet or exceed daily production goals and Quality requirements.
  • Maintain daily 5S and housekeeping requirements and schedules
  • Understand and meet yearly KPI’s targets.
  • Willingness to embrace new technology
  • Maintain positive personal behavior, attendance and open to change.
  • Operate tools such as but not limited to air hoses, mold carts, pliers, hoist and air blaster
  • Remove , clean and install molds as required
  • Must be able to work up to 12 hours standing shifts with rotating days, push, pull constantly mold and equipment in excessive weight limits, and withstand excessive heat.
  • Follow “GDP”(good documentation practices) to ensure compliance to applicable standards
  • Must be able to work any shift as needed
  • Any other duties as assigned

Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions: 

  • Must meet min score of 80% on pre-assessment testing and other employment testing
  • Must have a min high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must have basic computer knowledge or data entry knowledge and operator a variety of tools 
  • Maintain integrity of lean manufacturing program, including but not limited to pull systems, point of use storage, FIFO, and quick change-over systems
  • Maintain integrity of all IATF16949, ISO13485, ISO9001, and ISO14001 quality standards
