Vernay scientists present new research paper at the The International Rubber Conference 2016 IRC 28 October 2016, Kitakyushu, Japan

A new Vernay research study on the Impact of Carbon Black on Bonding and Durability of Vulcanized Rubbers was presented to the “International Rubber Conference IRC 2016” in Kitakyushu, Japan. The study was accepted for presentation following a four month long review process by the organizing committee. The research team that conducted the study was headed by Dr. Mahmoud Kardan, Ph.D. who was also the lead presenter at the conference. He was joined by fellow researchers Robert Ferguson, VP of R&D, and Rebecca Seitz.

The International Rubber Conference exhibition is one of the largest events on rubber and elastomer fields in the world. The IRC was attended by more than 600 participants from over 30 countries and simultaneously hosted a large-scale rubber technical exhibition with more than 4500 visitors in total. The main theme for IRC 2016 KITAKYUSHU was “Innovation based on Basic Science. The exhibition is considered a premiere opportunity for scientists to introduce new technologies, and products globally.
