Quality Engineer

Job Scope

Vernay Italia is looking for a Quality Engineer. This role is responsible for promoting and ensuring the application of quality principles, techniques, and tools, following the guidelines of the Quality Manager.


Primary Responsibilities/Essential Skills


  • Quality Control: Use the Statistical Process Control.
  • Classification of defects (Prepare data collection for Non-conforming parts, Quality Catalogue – Quality standards).
  • Inspection procedure implementation and analysis.
  • Implement trend analysis to develop corrective and preventive actions.
  • Communicate with Customers regarding quality to meet their requirements.
  • Validate and supervise corrective actions implemented.
  • Supervise communication with suppliers regarding specification/COS/quality.
  • Work with the supply chain to solve conflicts between quality and supply in the shortest possible time.
  • Perform a quality systems audit to ensure the respect of procedures.
  • Encourage quality system improvement.
  • Cooperation with the process engineer driving internal issues.
  • Maintain quality documents updated based on the customer specifications and quality standards (IATF 16949, ISO 13485, ISO 17025).

Education, Experience, and Skills Required


  • Engineering Master’s Degree
  • 3 years of experience in the QC department of a manufacturing company
  • Knowledge of ISO9001 is considered a plus.
  • Languages: English is a must.
