The program will include a ribbon cutting ceremony, guided plant tours, and remarks from Vernay leadership, the Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce, and invited guests from Milledgeville College, Baldwin High School, and local government.
“This re-opening marks an exciting new chapter for Vernay Milledgeville,” said Doug Cumpston, Plant Manager. “Our team has worked incredibly hard to prepare for this moment. We’re proud of what we’ve built here—and even more proud to show it to our community. This plant isn’t just about manufacturing—it’s about creating opportunities and building something that lasts.”
The updated facility represents Vernay’s commitment to operational excellence, local job growth, and long-term partnerships. The Milledgeville plant will play an increasingly important role in Vernay’s global supply network, supporting key customers in the Consumer Products and Mobility sectors.
“Vernay’s strength has always been our people and our ability to adapt to meet our customers’ evolving needs,” said Vanna Villata, Vice President of Operations. “This site reflects our strategy to build highly capable, responsive, and sustainable operations closer to our customers. We’re excited to grow our footprint in Milledgeville and continue investing in this dedicated team.”
