Vernay Brings its Latest Innovations to the Battery Show Japan 2022
August 24, 2022
Vernay Laboratories – a leading global flow control solutions provider – will be exhibiting its latest innovations at Battery Japan 2022. The event will occur in Chiba, 31 August – 2 September 2022, at Makuhari Messe (Booth E13-21).
“We are excited to introduce the Vernay VoltaVent™ during Battery Japan 2022. This is our first time participating in this show, and we look forward to presenting our customer-oriented solutions for battery valves to the Japanese market,” said Martin Reef, Global Automotive Market Manager.
During the show, Vernay will highlight its latest battery ventilation solution – Vernay VoltaVent™. Vernay VoltaVent™ is a multi-functional concept combining a protection zone that avoids humidity introduction during normal operation, a breathing zone for Over- and Underpressure relief when conditions in the battery pack exceed pre-set pressure thresholds, and an emergency pressure relief in case of a thermal runaway event. The valve reseals the battery pack immediately after pressure relief.
Vernay offers more than 75 years of design and manufacturing expertise. The Vernay VoltaVent™ provides specific solutions to the challenges of battery pack ventilation and thermal runaway, fitting into our historic range of innovative solutions. Vernay also offers solutions for other environmentally-friendly automotive applications including braking, passenger comfort, coolant and temperature management systems and hydrogen supply fuel cell applications.
